Gravity Haus Vail

Me my husband and 3 year old stayed at Gravity Haus for the holidays. The room was clean except for the tub and the ice bucket had food in it (oily residue with parsley flakes?). Little man had to get awkward showers due to the filthy tub. There also were no security locks on the front or balcony door (for those who need kid friendly room). We had to barricade the doors to keep him from wandering. The decor was somewhat dated in the king room considering the majority of the hotel was renovated. These were not included in the refresh. There was only a kettle for tea. No. Coffee. Pot. We thought this was super strange. We figured it was due to the coffee shop being on site, but we had their coffee in the morning in the cafe and it was a bit funky tasting. We opted to get coffee in vail village the remaining mornings. The staff, was incredible. Very friendly and accommodating. But wouldn't stay here again.

We were very disappointed and we don’t plan on returning, the bed made noise, toilet seat was old, bathroom floor didn’t heat up, no amenities for as in sugar, cream. Lack of communication on the open restaurants it was very difficult to find food.

When you book a stay it does not say anywhere that the hotel is being remodeled. Only after you do so, you get an email saying that it is and is not a big deal but it is an inconvenience. The other surprise is that breakfast does not exist, and when we booked it said that it does. Parkin is across the street. So be ready to haul all your belongings across the street. Very dissatisfied with our stay.

I loved loved LOVED the soaking tub in the room! So relaxing! It's an odd time to be traveling these days, and Vail Mountain Lodge is doing their best to provide a great hotel experience while keeping customers and employees safe and healthy. The hot tubs are open and wonderful! The steam rooms/saunas are closed. No daily turn down service, which is absolutely fine with my husband and me, as we don't see the point of it anyway. I wish the restaurant had been open during our stay but, alas, it was being completely renovated. Renovations also impacted getting around the hotel. I wish I had known these things when booking, but I think even the employees didn't know how much restaurant renovations would impact the hotel area until they began. Which was, apparently, the day we arrived. Overall, a great, relaxing experience! It was nice to get out of Denver a few days and enjoy the beauty and hiking trails of Vail. I am looking forward to returning once the restaurant is complete!

The worst customer service I have ever received from a hotel. After driving 18 hours from Houston, we climbed up about a dozen steeps steps to get to the hotel, after parking in the parking garage and trailing our luggage around. We were a group of 4 women and we were never offered assistance during check out or after, and both times the attendant was right there. I prepaid for my room and was asked for a credit card on file, no big deal, but i was charged a $100 deposit, which also would have been no big deal, but if you are going to

We spent two nights. Great location. Adam at front desk was very helpful. Concierge didn't follow up, and Vail was more crowded that we thought it would be, so access to favorite dining locations was problematic. Rooms very comfortable, but a little dated. TV & cable were very good. Considering COVID 19 conditions, all good.

Great price for a one night in Vail, Colorado. Unfortunately they did not have their breakfast buffet. I bet it would have been as awesome as dinner, the previous night. Nice and quiet but the mattress was a bit too firm for the both of us.

The place was perfect! A reasonable price. A big comfy room and bed and bathtub. The staff were awesome and the spa area and hot tubs were my daughters favorite!

Great hotel with excellent staff.
