The staff is amaizng. Trully. The hotel location is nice and the hotel look impressive. There are two problem with this hotel: 1. Crows (but it is not the hotel fault :) ) 2. Is monopoly with taxi's. So same ride to the airport should cost 600-800 (more around 800). They take 1800. If bill is needed request before the drive. When i left they weren't clear about the payment. I got to the airport and had to give all of my cash to the driver which caused me almost to lose my flight. Shame. It was relexing there until that part.

Stay in the real Goa

I recently returned home from a wonderful 5 days stay at Acron Waterfront Resort. This was my third visit to Baga having previously chosen a very nice hotel further inland but now wanting something closer to the beach. I couldn't have selected a better option. This is such a charming boutique hotel with all the luxuries that I enjoyed before but it's amazing location puts you right in the center of the real Goa with the local fisherman operating right across from the hotel. Combined with a view of the river and ocean, it's a feast for the eyes and you really don't need to go anywhere else! The beach is just a few minutes walk away if you need to see more life but I found myself eating in the wonderful restaurant every evening (preceded by a free happy hour) with a menu that will appeal to all tastes. I know I have put on weight but it was certainly worth it - the food is delicious. Finally, the Acron team couldn't be more attentive and I felt pampered and indulged throughout the visit. A special thank you to Rohit who was particularly friendly and attentive.

A North Goan Haven

The Acron Waterfront is a beautifully landscaped property overlooking the Baga River. The spacious rooms are very comfortable and the infinity pool is wonderful. It is so interesting to watch the boats and fishermen with their nets across the river from the Acron. The staff is friendly, attentive and anxious to ensure the comfort and happiness of guests. The daily Happy Hour from 7 - 8 pm is a pleasant interlude before dinner. The restaurant is excellent; we particularly enjoyed the Goan fish and prawn curries. The breakfast buffet is extensive, offering both Indian and international dishes. It is also possible to order breakfast items from the menu and we found everything to be delicious. The staff is helpful and able to answer questions about ingredients and preparation. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Acron.

Beautiful, serene hotel just away from the hustle and bustle of baga. Staff are so friendly and will do anything to make your stay more comfortable. Beds are super comfy too!

Lovely small hotel in a great location. Near enough to busier Calangute and Baga Beach but away from the hustle and bustle. Peaceful and quiet. Happy hour between 7-8 where local drinks are free . Excellent food at prices that are competitive with local area. One criticism would be lack of service at pool area - had to go and find staff to bring drinks etc to pool.
