John greeted us and spent 2 hours briefing us on Marrakech; best sights, best restaurants, excursions, people, culture, history, scams to avoid, bartering tips, personal safety, .... This gave us a lot more confidence in what is quite an alien environment for most tourists. We really enjoyed the whole experience from beginning to end. We will recommend Riad Hikaya to family & friends.

Excellent in all aspects - the hotel staff really take care of you and you feel like you are staying at somebody's house. Very authentic experience.

We would like to thank Wadia and all the girls for the most amazing stay. My husband and I stayed for 8 nights in October, 2018. The staff treated us like family. It was our first visit to Africa and first visit to Morocco but we had a feeling we knew the people for a long time and they are the people we could rely on. All our excursions outside of Marrakesh have been arranged through the Riad and all of them were amazing. We had the feeling we were protected and we enjoyed every moment of everything that we were able to sightsee in Sahara desert, Ait BenHaddou, Atlas Mountains and Essauira. All the advices and recommendations provided by Wadia were priceless. The Riad itself is very beautiful, very nice decorated. It was our first and last pleasant touch to Moroccan culture. Without the Riad staff our trip to Morocco could not be so wonderful as it actually was. Thank you so much again Wadia and all the girls! You are brilliant!

Looks like a movie set but like a movie set, many things are visually appealing but actually don't work. Shower sprays all over due to connection which should have been fixed before guests arrived. Shower stall pan overflows. Beautiful Copper Tub but we had to use it as a luggage rack (no luggage racks). We only had two small rollaboards, one had to be placed in the bath tub and the other high on a shelf across from shower. Leather and cloth slippers were previously used. After bed was made one day I found a small white worm between the upper and lower sheet, also a little dark bug that when I squished it made a small red smear on the bed. The staff were nice but not trained and/or supervised well. We ate a meal there the first night but never after. While the cous cous grain was cooked nicely (best I had in Morocco) the lamb and chicken in both dishes were very tough and dry. Staff had a problem with anticipating our daily needs and needed to be reminded of coffee preparation and had to be taught how to boil an egg so the shell would come off easily (a little salt and vinegar). Staff were very nice but not very experienced. Dinner was one of the costliest we had in Marrakech and one of the worst (meat wise). I suggest the vegetarian cous cous. In closing, I'd skip this movie set until it gets its act together.

They were wonderful to me. I felt like their attention to detail was carried through out every part of my stay. The manager was thoughtful and reliable in his overall capacity as director. The women who attended to my care were also attentive to details, professional with heartfelt attention.

Everything is up to our expectation. Excellent breakfast, comfortable and location. Strongly recommend.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The room was super and the looks great. The food quite good with full breakfast. but in truth the most spectacular side was the service. the lady that also does massage could not have ben more helfull and caring. the lady in the front des stayed awake so she coulld help us get to a balloon tour at 5 am. she alert on a chair. the bellboy who spoke no french or englis ready to help with a smile. The boss superfriendly gave us full of tips and support.

We LOVED everything about the Riad Hikaya! Wadia and the entire staff treated us like honored guests. It is beautifully decorated, the hospitality is unmatched,and the food and mint tea were incredible! Simply the best!
