Silver Bay Hotel

A really lovely stay at Silver Bay Hotel. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, helping to sort excursions for us. Very good English. Food was nice and a variety of options to choose from. Perfect location, not far from the bus stop to get into Corfu old town and 15 min walk to Kontakali Bay or Gouvia beach. Rooms were slightly basic but for the price we paid, the hotel was great with lovely swimming pool and outside area and bar. Would recommend.

I have a very good stay at the Silver Bay. All of the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Thank you... The room was good and clean. My one downside being there were only Greek tv channels in the room. However, I didn’t go to Corfu to watch tv!!! The hotel has a lovely outdoor pool and bar area and it is very easy to get to other places on the island. All in all a great hotel.

The pool area was very pleasant, not too busy. The room (although the bed was hard) was exactly as advertised, and there were no mosquitoes bothering me! It would benefit from having a toilet close to the poolside as the nearest one was down stairs from reception area. We ordered cocktails but they were not as we would expect served in a plastic pint style glass with no decoration. The internet connection was intermittent once in the room but fine elsewhere.

Perfect location, tucked away from the main road and only a 10 minute walk to the marina or beach in either direction. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Sofia, Despina and the 2 Georges were lovely, always happy to help and point me in the right direction or give a recommendation. It was exactly what i needed as i was on my own for my stay at Silver Bay. The food was excellent, with the option of a set and very reasonably priced menu during the day. I chose to eat from the menu one day and tried some local dishes that were incredible. The breakfast and dinner set menus were equally good. My room was always kept clean and tidy. The only thing i would add is the towels were grey even when clean. And the shower in my room meeded fixing, i had to hold the shower head. All in all it was a great hotel, the location, staff and food made mu experience.

I had a wonderful holiday staff were all friendly and helpful the hotel has a good sized swimming pool, food was good with attentive service from staff. My room, being a single traveller was a bit cramped but was clean and all services wifi , air con,sattelite tv and shower operated well. I would recommend the Silver Bay Hotel to anyone looking for a chilled refreshing break. ps,providing a laundry service for guest's would be a goo addition.

Hotellet är långt ifrån det tre stjärnor som utlovas. Dom försöker hålla fasaden uppe men det håller inte måttet. Dom har gett upp. Halv chabbig mat. Trevligt pool område men slitet runt om. Rummen okej men inte mer. Sjukt små balkonger. Ingen utsikt. Grannarna direkt in på. Mycket lyhört. Personalen lossas jobbar. Ler å hälsar tills du ber om något eller påpekar tex oljud från teaig AC. Då säger dom att dom ska kolla med någon men inget händer. Närheten ner till gouvia är ett plus men att ta sig över en motor väg för å ta sig till stranden känns inget vidare. Lyckas ni boka en natt eller två billigt så funkar det men skulle aldrig boka detta hotel för en vecka eller mer. Dyrt. Drygt å slitet. Låg standard. Inga tre stjärnor 1+ mer än tre
