Whaleshead Beach Resort

The owners had everything ready for our late check in, they even prepped the hot tub temp for us. Cabin was clean, charmingly decorated, and bed and couch were comfortable. Loved the huge deck and proximity to Samuel H Boardman! I understand why others have bought cabins here, it’s very peaceful.

We had an awesome vacation at Whaleshead. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and conveniently located. The unit we stayed in was great; clean, quiet, had all the amenities we needed, and we were grateful for the surplus of towels—we had kids with us. The hot tub was easy to use and the covered deck was very nice. Check in/out was a breeze.

We stayed for our anniversary it was pretty nice it was pretty small and the BBQ was broken but it was ok

Our cabin was super clean! Front and back deck with a bbq! Perfect! I did think there would be more than salt, pepper and oil in the kitchen. I think next time we'll try for the ocean view!

Normally when we stay at whaleshead there is no problem. Th is time the hot tub was not clean, we had to by paper plates and silverware because the dishes at the property were not clean and there was an any problem.

Unbelievably friendly staff. Very clean facilities. Cabin was a bit small (Every room was quite small) but everything we needed was there and it was spotless. Perfect for a stop while traveling through beautiful Southern Oregon. The beach was gorgeous, very private, and right across the street.

There were no pictures to show the lousy ladder to the loft. If you have young children or an older adult that plans to sleep in the loft don't book this cabin. Also, the resort charged extra at departure for our dogs that I had already told them about at check-in so this was a surprise. Hardly any space for parking.

Beautiful location near the beach. Friendly staff. Rooms were dirty, hair and water bottles under the bed, slider to deck was broken, screen door lock was faulty and we were locked out for a bit.

Loved everything about this property so clean nice layout view of the ocean two things I wish a little bit softer bed and a barbecue

As I understand it, these are privately owned properties so experiences may vary depending on the cabin you get, but we absolutely loved ours!!! We had an ocean view which was very worth it.
