Zen Rooms Oasis (SG Clean)

Lots of authentic nearby restaurants. Public transportation is easy to access and the staff is great!

When I first walked into the room, I was satisfied. Room had no windows, but it suited my needs. It was a little weird that the blanket was folded in the closet area, but I thought nothing of it. I leave my stuff in the room and was told that I had to give my hotel key back to the front desk when I left the hotel. I believe this is a violation of privacy as they did not verify my identity when got back. One could have easily looked over at their key holder and said a room number with a key in it and have access to it. As I settled down later, I took the blanket and noticed it was filled with stains and holes. The a/c had only one setting (extremely cold). The worst was yet to come. I had placed my bags on a little ledge in the room and I looked over and saw a tiny bug roaming around the ledge. I quickly killed it in fear that it would get to the bread that I had. Then I noticed. It was not alone. With one wipe down of the ledge, I killed 8 more bugs. I quickly packed my bags and complained only to be greeted with "oh yeah, everything ok. Just ants." The man (possible owner) then reluctantly gave me another room with the statement "You complain. I give you another room ok?" Upon entering the 2nd room one floor above. It was not long before I saw more jumping "ants". Killed as much as I could, took a shower with no hot water and mold along the ledges. Past midnight, I resign with my belongings on my bed. Stayed 1 of 2 nights. Cut loses. Booked another hotel. NEVER again.

Affordable and well maintained facilities. About 10 minutes walk to the nearest MRT. Air-conditioner is working well and water pressure in the bathroom is strong. Double bed room is quite cramped it is difficult to walk to the other side of the bed. Room service is excellent. The one thing that we are not so satisfied of was that there was hairs in the bathroom when we checked-in presumably from the previous guest.

If you need a place just for sleeping, this is the one.

Stayed for a week to explore Singapore. Room was small but comfortable, perfectly clean with very tidy room service. Friendly front desk clerk had bottled water for us every day, which was handy. Good location close to MRT station. Wifi Connection in our Room was a bit slow.

Was greeted by a cockroach. Window view was of other hotel rooms. Everything else was great, especially the guy working at night - really nice guy. I just don't expect a cockroach in a place like this. Also, this used to be a prime prostitution spot, and even though prostitution isn't as big anymore in Singapore, they've kept the hourly hotel room rates.

Great location, just a few blocks away from Kallang MRT station in a quiet and safe area, but you also just have to walk a few blocks and you're already in the lovely vicinity of Geylang with all the hawkers and stores and markets. Room's on the small side but that's pretty standard for Singapore, and the beds are large enough (though the pillows could be softer/fluffier). Staff is friendly, bottled water and toiletries are free, room is cleaned every day, wifi is reliable. Definitely worth your money.

Double deluxe is very tiny room. Is very uncomfortable to even walk A stool cannot be placed in the room without interfering the pax maneuver ability. Too make matter worst, a foundation pillar is between the free space and make our stay unpleasant
