One of the better choices in El Nido

El Nido has a very very poor selection of hotels in general unless you stay in a luxury hotel on another island. - Dirty and crowded outside the hotel. Very unpleasant however Inside is much better - Decently clean and comfortable but not the best - ok food in the restaurant and the breakfast is not very good - Poor wifi connection but it is like that in El Nido in general - It is pretty quiet at night which is a plus. We were on the 4th floor in the corner. It gets noisy during the day due to the locals outside

Good base for El Nido, but noisy

Overall we were pleased with the stay, 15 trike ride away from el Nido airport. It’s on the main road with a few shops around. 5 min trike ride to El Nido town (base for boat trips) , 5 min trike to Maremegmeg beach (great for relaxing) and 10 min walk to Carong Carong (Perfect for watching sunsets) The room was as expected from the photos, decent size with a big bed. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Staff there are very friendly and helpful, we booked our boat tours and rented moped through them with no problems. Breakfast is decent with choice of eggs, basic fruits, rice bread and local dishes. Sometimes slow to replenish dishes once they ran out. Main issue we had was that there is no sound insulation, so can hear all the noises from the room. We were given a room right behind the reception, and next to the cleaners cupboard so was very noisy and could hear the phone ringing. Luckily we had earplugs otherwise would have been a big issue to sleep. Also the window in our room looked directly into their cleaning cupboard to had to keep the curtains shut otherwise the cleaners could see directly inside. We didn’t spend a huge amount or time in the actual hotel and found the location good for exploring el Nido so still had a good stay.

Awesome Hotel

We had a wonderul stay at the hotel. Customer Service was outstanding, very attentive to needs right away. Staff are very friendly & professional. Scrumptious traditional breakfast served fresh daily. Truly enjoyed; must repeat stay at this hotel next time visit.

We are very enjoyed stay in One El Nido Suite. The staff was very friendly. room is big, bright and clean. the hot buffet breakfast was good. we are very happy that they have airport pick up service.

Comfy for a short stay

The hotel is located in the 3rd, 4th and 5th floor of a building next to a very noisy and kind of dirty shopping center. When we got there it wasn’t easy to find. The facilities are not very new but at least is clean.

For me, this was a terrible decision. Bad location, next to a public market that smelled horrible. Lots of flies and beggers...this was just on the outskirts of town..we checked in, saw our terrible view and checked out. Staff didn't bother to ask us why...as if they already knew OR it happens all the time...not a safe location.

Rat infested hellhole

There are no pictures of this hotel from outside, as such you would never know that it is on the side of the commercial building. That would not be a problem at all if there were no issues. The rooms look great, just like on pictures, however when the lights go off the nightmare starts! We were in room 1815 with a hanging ceiling. We heard this horrendous screaming noise and constant scratching and pulling noise, we soon realised that it is RATS running around the hanging ceiling. When we switched the light on we saw them!!! It was vile, we ran out the room and went to reception who were completely unschocked by this revelation. They moved us to another room with a normal ceiling and we thought it would be better, but no the entire night we heard the screams and scratches inside the wall and it was possibly one of our worst nights on holiday ever. We have checked out the next day even though we paid for the hotel for one more day. I cannot comprahend how anyone can stay there with rats making that much noise. Disgusting.

The property overall was fine. The staff was great, very helpful at all times. My main issue was the breakfast, the quality was not there. It bothered me so much the fact that they would take so long to replenish fruit and eggs. When they replenished the fried eggs they would put them on the same old pot that has been sitting there for hours.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few days and loved the location of it. Generally it was a quick tricycle ride into town (about 50 pesos), the location was great. We were most pleased with the magnificent view backing Corong Corong beach and found the room and areas very clean. Staff were very friendly, a gentlemen working security downstairs would help me with all my transport needs, he was very eager to help. Breakfast was delicious with a great view as well. I would certainly recommend anyone to come stay here.
