1930s Athenian House

Great stay in a great location. Really comfy beds, excellent AC. The host was super flexible when our flight was late (we didn’t arrive until 10:00PM), and he was flexible to let us hold our luggage there during cleaning while we were exploring the Acropolis.

Beautiful apartment, tastefully decorated, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Nice area with great fruit & veg market nearby on Friday. Kleopatra was helpful in providing transport information. Would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for somewhere smart and tranquil to stay in Athens. Fabulous!

We were met by Kostas on arrival, what a star, he was so helpful in assisting us return our rental car as the street driving in the area stressful. Also great knowledge of the area. The apartment lovely.

Only stayed here one night, but it was my first night after my long flight from the US and it was the perfect spot. Safe (solo female traveler here) & quiet street in a great neighborhood (quick walk down the street to a walking street with a few restaurants). Check in was quick and easy...had to contact them prior thru WhatsApp to let them know of my arrival time, but once I got there, they were easily confirmed via text on Whatsapp and was met at the door by Christina. She gave me a quick tour and the key and some tips on where to eat dinner. I was staying in the one bedroom first floor/basement level room and it was very spacious...with sitting area, kitchen, and big bedroom. Bed was soooo comfortable! I had a solid 9 hours of sleep after a long day of travel. You can hear a bit of street noise, so if it's a weekend and there's a lot of people out late, that might bother some people...but it wasn't a problem for me. Next day, it was a quick walk to the Acropolis, and a quick taxi ride to the metro to head out to the airport. Overall, really great stay! Would highly recommend.
