Cheerful quaint place. Everything provided for, just help yourself. Excellent central location close to metro station. Room needs more facilities such as hooks, shelves etc. Friendly staff.

The room itself was small but reasonable. The shower wasn't the best setup but it is acceptable. The entire building comprised of 6 floors (no elevators!) and had rather narrow steps especially up to the 6th floor. What's not quite acceptable is the fact that you have to wash your own dishes after breakfast. I don't mind doing the washing, but I saw a fellow guest doing a poor job and that unclean mug/dish is meant for the next guest. Questionable hygiene... argh.

First, DO NOT stay here if you have ANY problem with stairs. There is no lift and the property is spread over 5 floors. Having said that, the hotel is in an excellent location. It is less than 100m from exit 1 of Euljiro 3 (opp side from Travelodge). Many of the main sights of Seoul are nearby and there is a direct line to Hongdae. The room was compact but pleasant and the bed was large and comfortable. You cook your own breakfast which gives the place a more homely feel and you get to meet the other guests as you are cooking your eggs. The place has a nice laid back feel, more of an up market hostel. The owners, Daniel and Sunny are really nice and will do as much as they can to make your stay more pleasant. Just ask and they will do their best to help. A nice touch was the loan of an umbrella when it was raining outside.

The location is great and the staff are nice and helpful. However, I found lots of small insects inside the room including two flying, a few climbing on the walls of the room and the toilet, and quite a number on the bed sheets... I asked them to change the bed sheets but the same problem remain unsolved after changing as there are a number of them inside the room... I am quite sensitive to insects and I basically can't sleep for that few days. For breakfast, I am not sure as I cant even reach to the kitchen, it's on the rooftop but on the way there are some larger insects...

The staff was amazing! Amiable and attentive. I was greeted very nicely and sometimes they would even greet me by my name and ask how was my day. The room has a nice cozy size. The place is very well located; there are several things to do walking distance and there is a subway station less than a minute away.

Friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to Myeongdong is around 5-10minutes. It would be a little bit far in the cold weather and the lots of shopping you are carrying. =P

Daniel was wonderful He gave us suggestions and was very friendly..Great small clean hotel off the beaten path yet close enough to the center..do not book if you cannot walk up steps.
