Kimpton Everly Hotel

It met my expectation and more... I got the room with the Hollywood sign view and I totally loved it. Beautiful view... It was like looking at a picture. The room was clean and had all the amenities that I needed. The service is excellent! Marissa at the front desk was very friendly with great personality. She took her time and explained everything I wanted to know (over the phone) about the hotel before my arrival date. Upon my arrival, she made me feel very welcomed by her great customer service. Billy (evening shift) was also nice as well as Mitchell who works at Jane Q restaurant. Would definitely go back!

Hotel was very clean. Friendly staff. Went out of their way to make sure we didn’t need anything and to have snacks available for purchase and limited restaurant hours for take out during the pandemic. Overnight parking was expensive so I didn’t use it, but will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay, very close to attractions, and best prices compared to other hotels. Because of covid, they will leave clean towels outside your door, but that worked just fine. Staff is very nice.

I love coming to this hotel for drinks in the lobby (Pre-Covid). I needed a weekend stay in the city and I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay. The room and facilities were thoroughly cleaned. More importantly, the staff provides 5-Star Hotel service. I'll definitely be returning. Hopefully, the lobby bar will open again soon.

I have traveled around the world solo, in hostels that coast $7 dollars a night with the shower in the backyard. This hotel was far worse than any I’ve stayed in. I arrived 1 1/2 hours early for my check in, they wanted to charge me 50 dollars to check in early and they had the room available already as told by the staff.. they charge $40+ dollars for one night of parking (your room is 200+ a night). For the money I’ve spent on this room, there were ants crawling all over a desk that ended up in my bed when I went to sleep at night. I couldn’t sleep felt itchy and very uncomfortable. When I went to the pool, it was horrific. Extremely dirty(leaves/dirt/random floating mucus), no staff by the pool monitoring it, Huge dead cockroaches around the pool and by every seat, majority of the seats where covered in dust/tree sap that looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. Not sure how this place has such high reviews, I will not be visiting this hotel ever again. Not to mention such high prices for such a mediocre place

The employees were very nice. The check-in/and parking process was a mess. We had to sit in the middle of the road with traffic moving both directions because there was no valet parking and that was part of there checkin process. We got to our room and could not get the air conditioner to turn on. The telephone did not work. Ants were all over one of the beds. We were awaken two of our three nights with drunk women trying to get into our room, yelling at each other, and slamming their doors again and again. The most disappointing of all was the misrepresentation of the hotel itself on the website. This was clearly not a 4-star hotel. It looks nice from the outside, but the inside, although fairly clean, was dated. The pool was tiny and looked nothing like the pictures. All in all we were disappointed with our hotel choice and hope this review helps others avoid making the same mistake.

Will definitely be staying at the Kimpton Everly Hotel again. This was the perfect getaway that we needed during this COVID time. We stayed in the room with the club foot tub and it was a nice touch at the end of a long hot day. Things to be mindful about is that due to COVID there is no valet however their self parking garage is convenient and it was $34 a night. Also, no maid service during your stay, if you need anything you will need to call the front desk. Last thing, that was a down side is that the pool closes at 6 and during our stay it was in the triple digits, having the pool open later would have been nice. For us, most of this was not a problem and thought the staff did a wonderful job with adapting with the circumstances.

This place was absolutely amazing! The staff were great. The room had a beautiful view of the city, and was walking distance from Hollywood Boulevard, and Capitol Records!
