Lovely welcome Got the the room which is so big and clean .bathroom is very clean .lots of towels.beds are comfortable. Only thing is as we was at the front of building you can hear people coming out of this pub and others pubs shouting to one to the another .over all lovely hotel.

There is not much choice in March. This place is right in the town centre. The place is old, but well maintained. It's clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. Good food available.

The bed was spotlessly clean, large and comfy, plenty of hot water for showers Due to COVID-19 there was no cooked breakfast, the website said we’d have a continental breakfast instead, but on arrival we were told that there was no breakfast, which incurred extra cost to our stay The staff were courteous The bedroom could do with updating On the whole our stay was comfy

Another great stay. So glad it has reopened after COVID lockdown. The only place I will stay when travelling down south for work. Very clean as always. With great procedures in place.

Attending a wedding and decided to have a four night break. A wonderful hotel in a lovely location near River Nene. Booking in was quick and easy. Our room was spacious with a lovely bathroom. Had a meal on first night and was impressed with the variety on the menu, the quality of the food and the good service, then apart from the wedding, we ate there the other three nights as well. We also enjoyed a lovely Sunday carvery. The bar has a good selection of ales and also, despite getting busy, good service. The breakfast was also not disappointing, nice choice, well cooked, and thank you to Kila for the good friendly service and banter. We fancied a later breakfast on Sunday and this was easily arranged. The hotel has a DJ on Friday and Saturday night, hence the earplugs in the room, but our room was to the rear and we didn’t hear a thing. All in all a great break and we plan to return. Thank you

The staff were friendly and helpful - food was good—room was fine—however having arrived from a traumatic funeral we looked forward to a relaxing evening — the TV in the room was not working -it transpired that none of the tv,s were working —spending the evening in the pub was not an option because there was a disco planned.Although the staff and manager apologised the issues could not be rectified so we opted to leave the hotel and travel home (3 hour drive)not a relaxing evening we had planned.

Amazing place. Friendly staff, great special meals and terrific ambience. Live sport channels were a bonus. Close to the local canal and the market square. On site car parking.
