I enjoyed the swimming pool & the beautiful sight of the property. Breakfast you didn't have a choice, however it was prepared with Love.
This was my second time staying at this property. I booked my stay about 17 days prior to my arrival. After travelling over 5,000 miles I arrived at the hotel. I was standing in the lobby with my bags ready to check in, and was told they had basically given my reserved room to someone else and there was nowhere for me to stay. They ended up sending me to a lesser hotel that was much further away and told me they would have a room ready for me in 5 days. They promised to put me in the presidential suite, due to the inconvenience. After the 5 days had passed I called over to see if the room was ready for me to check in, and was told they were still waiting for people to check out, this was after 12:00 pm. Not wanting to sit around and wait all day and waste my vacation time, I went out for the day. When I returned that evening, they finally said they had a room ready and came and got me. The room was definitely not the presidential suite, so that was a lie. I also expressed to them that due to the location of the room on the property, I was unable to obtain a steady WiFi signal. The response I received was to "just be cool", and the issue was basically ignored. Overall, I was pretty disgusted with the piss poor logistics of the room booking. There is no excuse as to why my room was basically given away to someone else, and then to basically be sent to a lesser hotel up until my last day in the country was not cool and very unprofessional, I was also denied a refund.

Problems began at check-in. The receptionist lied and told us that someone with my name had called a few days previous and cancelled the reservation. The lies went on from there. They told us there was no confirmation of our reservation, the room we paid for was not the room we reserved. I wasn't sure what was going on because I've used Hotels.com so many times and never had any issues. My husband is a Ghanaian and he told me "that's what they do here." They will tell you the reservation was cancelled so they can sell the room to someone paying with cash. The lies went on from there On our 2nd to last day they told us we had to move to a smaller (cheaper) room because they had another reservation for our room. I asked if they were going to compensate me and the lies and problems got worse. Eventually I found out that it was the hotel owner that was driving the scam. Beware of this hotel and the way they do business! I had an argument with the owner on my last day as they were basically forcing us out if the room we had paid for (the payment had already been made) into a smaller room that we could barely move around in. This hotel does NOT honor their guests, they are only interested in the money! They will sell your room right out from underneath you and there's nothing you can do except call police and inform them that this hotel is cheating foreigners that are unaware how these locally owned hotels are running scams on their guests. I will lodge a formal complaint.
I booked Bays in December for a stay in February, I cannot believe when we arrived they had no record of my booking. Apparently the guy who usually brings all online bookings to the hotel didn’t bring any info about our stay, so there was a lot of chaos for about 1hr and a half because I got extremely angry. They wanted to book us a room elsewhere I said NO, the lady then said they’re fully booked. Then after all the confusion under the sun, magically there was a room available. This annoyed me so so much because I showed our invoice and confirmation so upon seeing that, they should’ve accomadated us promptly. I called ebookers to complain who couldn’t even get hold of the manager. Absolute mess. I came from London and was staying in East Legon but needed to use Bays Lodge as a base as I had things to do in the area. I will come again if need be, but hopefully next time they’re come correct as I’m sure they definitely remember my face. Tip: CALL AHEAD double check they have sorted your room booking before you arrive there.
Very nice place. Rooms very good size, very clean and breakfast was huuuge everyday. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant.

Awesome environment,nice location, staff is the best, neat and cozy rooms, amazing pool, best hideout place too u can think of... I love the place and it’s cost effective too .. Bravo and expect me there again 🙏

Booked two king size beds and paid for them but when arrived they said they don’t have them. Would not refund or work with me.
