Luxury and Opulence at a Bargain Price

The staff were attentive and helpful but never pushy. The apartments are part of a massive building which obviously has considerable history. It has been tastefully and thoughtfully modernised, whilst retaining the character and grand nature of the original building. The facilities, including indoor and outdoor pools, fitness suite, restaurant, putting green, outside bar, etc have all remained open during the pandemic and whilst safety has been taken very seriously and given the appropriate priority, it is as unobtrusive as it can be and detracts remarkably little. Overall it was simply terrific value and I can’t readily imagine anything that might improve it.

Fantastic apartment, very clean, very good condition and highly recommended. The only thing that lets it down is the reception is only open from 09:00 to 18:00 which is inconvenient if you want to leave early or check in late. The gym although good, opens at 07:30 which is useless if like me you like to work out first thing. But that’s the only downside.

Nice Stay

Third time we have stayed here. Previously booked sea view rooms and both we’re comfortable and views were very good. Apartments were spacious. Was very disappointed that this most recent stay what was described as Sea view room was more sea glimpse through bushes and trees! And that apartment was more cramped than previous apartments as well as being noisy, this included having to turn tv up to drown out sounds from party in the hotel.

Incredible view

Fantastic apartments with incredible view. Great facilities and offer household items for free which can be unusual for a self catering apartment. Good location not far from Torquay. Not very child friendly but for us with a newborn was fine.

The views are amazing. Cleanliness and layout of apartments excellent. The children loved the pool. That could be more spacious and ventilated.

This property is best place to stay for your short term holidays. We stayed in the apartments and it was clean and spacious. Rooms were double the size of average rooms in London. Sea facing, swimming pool, indoor & outdoor restaurant, free parking and close to local attraction. If you are reading this message go to Blackpool and Bantham Beach (Beautiful beaches to go). Entire stay was pleasant and relaxing... The staff at the restaurant were pleasant and very polite. Based on their advise we went to Blackpool beach. When we go again we will 100% stay at this hotel/apartments. Arpit Bhargava
