The Millennials Shibuya

Had an 18 hour layover in Tokyo, The Millennials was in a great location in Shibuya. Never experienced a capsule style of hotel before, although a little strange at first, there was a clean bed and clean amenities. The storage was adequate, but keep in mind that only a pull down shade is your “door” so keep your valuables in the lock box provided under the bed or just take them with you if you leave. I missed out on the free beer happy hour! But there’s plenty of shopping, eating, and drinking establishments within walking distance. Also a short walking distance to Shibuya train station

This was my first time in a capsule hotel and while I don’t think it’s my cup of tea, this one was beautifully done. For someone who was unfamiliar even to hostel living, the whole experience was pleasant and really well thought out. The “pod” while small actually has what you need and space for two large bags like I had. The privacy afforded was better than expected and I felt my items were safe in lieu of being able to fully lock my area. The on floor bathrooms were clean and well equipped and laundry, though not used, seemed similarly done. The two common spaces were spacious and comfortable and the shared kitchen well maintained and spotless. Overall this is a great deal in a wonderful location, especially if you want to save money but still have a comfortable stay.

This hotel is in the perfect location to enjoy Shibuya, Shinjuku and the surrounding areas. The “capsule” style rooms are actually a pretty cool experience. Everything is clean, easy to use and organized. We loved staying here and will be back again. 4 minute walk to Shibuya Scramble and Metro.

Absolutely amazing experience. Place was clean, really well designed, created a great atmosphere. The free coffee and breakfast was a great touch. Definitely recommend and want to revisit!!

My first time in a capsule/pod sleeping area and I love it so much! A little bit hot maybe because there is no AC on the pod but all in all it was great experience! Definitely going to use it again when I come back to Japan!

The Hotel is in the middle of Shibuya, the Staff is friendly and the pods are fantastic.

I love staying at Millennials Shibuya. If you are looking for an economical place to stay in Tokyo this is it. The pods are very comfortable and not claustrophobic. There is a community feel but also an individual feel. Most of the people who stay are under 40. You can meet people if you are traveling solo. I would stay here again if I visit Tokyo!
