Great private villa stay with view!

Great stay, very private feel. Met the owners, very nice. And staff very accommodating in making sure we have our needs, even food delivery for the free breakfast. Only sucky side was the steep hill to access the hotel, which makes it tricky for which tricycle to ride that can handle it or offer fair price. the view is beautiful esp for Corong Corong beach!

Disappointing

Overall very disappointing. View and pool are nice. That’s where it ends. There’s no pool bar at all. They said there is. But there isn’t. Hot water is either scolding hot or cold. WiFi kicks you off every time you don’t use it for 5 seconds. Breakfast always delivered cold. Cold eggs? No thanks. They shut our water off, after several calls over 4-5 hours, they finally came and checked. Someone just shut the water off to our unit. No explanation, they actually laughed about it. Stay somewhere else, for less money. You’ll be much happier.

It’s still a work in progress. The staff were excellent, very accommodating and helpful, although the they seemed under staffed. We stayed in the Joglo, which was amazing and had everything we needed. However, the aircon wasn’t powerful enough for the big room and never cooled down. The price you pay for the amazing sunset is having an extra hot room. Essentially it’s luxury resort prices without resorts services or amienties.

Beautiful room with breathtaking view! The steep hill to get to the rooms was a little challenge but totally worth it for the price and the privacy of the room! The pool was great! The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Incredibly high quality finish to these villas, short walk up a steep hill to access the resort but it’s well worth it for the great view. The staff would so helpful with arranging transfers, breakfast and moped hire. Can’t wait to go back.

I never take the time to write reviews; however I was overly pleased with the accommodations and staff. I stayed in unit one which was a spectacular villa with a fully equipped mini kitchen for all the essentials, an excellent indoor/outdoor bathroom with luxury shower and over-sized tub. Having lived in the Philippines for nearly ten years, Customer Service isn't always the best, but Kuruna sets themselves apart by providing superior service regardless of time or day. The owner/builder is American, and you can certainly tell by the craftsmanship and the fact that instructs his staff to take care of his customers. I fell in love with the place and the service, that I am considering purchasing a villa of my own as it truly is a piece of paradise with beautiful views and SPECTACULAR service. Thank you Kuruna for an awesome week!

Decent stay little bit of a hike uphill. Food is expensive but to be expected at a hotel.
