Hotel Alwyn

Room was lovely and comfortable, staff welcoming and very helpful. I loved my stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Our stay at Hotel Alwyn was excellent. The room was super clean, very spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The room was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the the balcony. The daily breakfast was great and we enjoyed the restaurant for an evening dinner. The location of the hotel is very convenient if you are using public transportation. The metro station is about a 10 minute walk away. I would recommend Hotel Alwyn to anyone visiting Prague. We would stay at this hotel again on our next visit to Prague.

It’s a lovely hotel! Easy to find! The bed was so comfortable- slept like a baby - was not easy to get up in the morning!

I stayed here four weeks during a training course and found the Alwyn to be a very clean, comfortable hotel in a cool neighborhood and thought it was a terrific value and I would definitely stay here again. The room was a good size with a nice bathroom and a remote control air conditioner, which was a godsend during the summer heat wave. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with a nice array of cold and hot options. The staff were all very friendly and the hotel and rooms were kept immaculate. The location is also great on a quiet street. The surrounding Karlin neighborhood has a lot of good dining options, and the hotel is right around the corner from the Dva Kohouti microbrewery/taproom, which was a cool spot to hang out after work or after dinner and draws locals from all over Prague. The hotel is about a five-minute walk from the Florenc bus station, which is also where the Metro yellow and red lines intersect, making it very easy to get around the city. I often took the tram right around the corner from the hotel one or two stops and transferred to the Metro or bus, which made it very easy to get into the city center in 15-20 minutes. The Amboseli Restaurant in the hotel is pretty good; it’s usually packed at lunch time during the week but not busy at dinner. The fitness center was probably about what you’d expect in a small hotel, but there’s a nice walking/cycling path along the river maybe 400 meters from the hotel, so most days I just ran on that.

Hotel is nice, room clean and bed comfortable with aircon, breakfast included with enough choices for everyone. Staff friendly and location not too far from old town, surrounding area has some nice restaurants. Tram stop is two minutes walk from hotel, metro just a six minutes walk, i would stay again if visit Prague next time.
