El Cielo is a beautiful place to visit and stay. The apartments are spacious and modern. The restaurants and breakfast are excellence. The El Cielo wine is also excellent.
Amazing service, very strict with Covid and are following protocol. I was very impressed with the facility. Super clean and the staff very helpful treated us amazing the service is 5 start service. Doesn’t compare to any other places in valle de Guadalupe. The wine tasting at El cielo I wish they provided cheese platter and heaters since it is super cold at night. They were also short staff the gentleman who helped us was super nice, but I seen how busy he was with 5 other tables besides ours. The wine were amazing and we were allowed to bring the glasses home so that was nice.
The property is beautiful, the view spectacular , it was more than I expected .
The management of at this establishment does not deserve a 5 star rating....the heater in our room was not operating and it took 2 1/2 hours to get a room change. The breakfast restaurant had flies everywhere ( not a 5 star standard) I asked about at the star and was told it was normal! The staff were pleasant but I was never able to speak to a manger, probably because they were afraid to speak with me. I made numerous requests to speak to the manger on call. I will never stay at this hotel again. There are many beautiful hotels in the Valle that are far superior!
We’ve been wanting to visit El Cielo for a while now and were looking forward to our stay. Unfortunately, it was not pleasant at all. Although the staff were really nice, the place did not deliver. 1. This place is considered expensive. We reserved the entire residence for the night and paid approximately $1000 for the night. As we entered the unit, the house had a sewer smell coming from the master bedroom. We could not get rid of it. The unit was presentable but wasn’t what I would’ve considered “clean”. The master bathroom has a huge jetted tub but it didn’t work properly. :( 2. We had a pool reservation for the evening and when we arrived, it had not been cleaned out and refreshed with clean towels nor were the lights turned on. We had to call s couple of time to have someone come and take care of it. 3. They have 24hr room service.... not many options but we found something. It took a while for the delivery but we were told it would. The problem was that it arrived cold, some basic items missing so the server had to make several trips that also took a long time and even then, we really didn’t get what we had asked for. 4. Same case when we visited the restaurant for breakfast the next morning. It took very long to get our food and we kept having to ask for things that were missing and every time was at least 15 to 20 min to get them. I totally get that COVID has brought limitations to these kinds of “trips” but for your prices should reflect that!

Worst experience! The shower in my room was not working, there was an empty room below us and they opened the door for me to shower and then kicked me out to go back to my room with my broken shower. This process took forever and I ended up sleeping at 3 am. When I talked to management the next morning they were not available to switch us to another room although they were empty. They still had us check out by noon. We were exhausted. The manager was no help. We also booked our spot at the pool and there were 22 other people for the same time slot, in a small pool. Ruins the purpose of reserving and this is not meeting COVID safety measures so we did not end up going to the pool. I will not be staying here any longer. Very disappointed with this experience. There are way nicer places with better customer service in Valle. This place is not even worth the price. It’s ridiculous.
Showers were not working, staff was nice trying to fix things but management was not available to switch us to another room. When they finally got back to us they said there was nothing to do since we had already paid our stay. We stayed up till 3am while they tried to fix it and we were only there one night. They still had us check out by noon. We were exhausted. Spoke with Room Manager, she said there was nothing they could do since we already paid.
Cielo Winery is a beautiful resort. The installations are beautiful from the moment you drive in. However, it lacks costumer service. We got the wrong room. We reserved a junior suite with 2 double beds and we got a junior or suite with one king bed. When we were given our new room key card it was a key card to an occupied room. We kept having trouble with our room key card not working. They got the amount of people for our pool reservation incorrect. We found random screws laying around our room floor. We were promised sangria multiple times and never got any. We asked for coffee pods for our coffee machine and never received any. Just a few things among others. We feel the staff never cared that we were unhappy and they never followed through with anything. So disappointing such a beautiful place, but it has a long way to go to perfect their costumer service.
