Eyja Guldsmeden Hotel

Decor and cleanliness in the hotel cannot be faulted. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was nothing special and expensive for what it was. Free parking right outside the hotel was a plus. Main downside was the location, it’s roughly a ten minute walk from the main street and the area itself isn’t great, plus the footpaths weren’t gritted so very icy and difficult to navigate.

It was a lovely place to stay - suited what we were looking for. I also appreciated the eco-friendly toiletries in they had in the bathroom. It was a 5-7 minute walk to the main road which was very convenient.

Beautiful hotel. Lovely bed and rooms. Walking distance to the main street. Really helpful receptionists as well.

Lovely room, they were able to provide an early check in for us (thank you!!), everything was clean and bright and the staff was very friendly. Would love for breakfast to have been included, however

It was great! Has a cool vibe and the restaurant/bar is very convenient. We also liked the location, It’s an easy pick up for day tours.

My partner and I stayed here for 1 night, the staff were generally helpful and friendly and the room was clean, stylish and comfortable. I would note that I felt quite removed from the city and all the places I wanted to explore and we ended up driving a lot. The hotel has no real facilities such as a pool, sauna etc which I had assumed because of the four star rating. Overall it was a nice hotel that I enjoyed staying at but would reconsider the location depending on what you are looking for during your stay.
